SHIPPING POLICY

Last Updated: June 27, 2026

At Danselle, we strive to get your favorite dancewear to you as quickly and safely as possible. Below you will find all the information about our shipping methods, timeframes, and costs.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to the following destinations:

  • United States (all 50 states and territories).

  • Puerto Rico.

  • Canada.

  • Latin American and Caribbean countries.

  • European Union and United Kingdom.

If your country does not appear as an option during checkout, it means we are currently unable to ship to that location. Contact us and we will evaluate whether we can make special arrangements.

⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED: Confirm and adjust this list based on the countries you actually want to cover.

2. Processing Time

Processing time is the period between when you receive your order confirmation and when the package is handed off to the shipping carrier. This time does NOT include shipping transit time.

2.1 Standard Catalog Items

Standard items (leotards, tights, training wear, and accessories) are processed within three to five (3–5) business days after payment confirmation.

2.2 Custom Performance Costumes

Custom costumes require additional production time as they are handcrafted to your specifications. Estimated production timelines are communicated when your order is confirmed and vary depending on design complexity and current order volume. You will be notified by email when your costume is completed and ready to ship.

2.3 Peak Season

During high-demand seasons (recital season, Nutcracker, competitions), processing times may be extended. If you have a deadline for an event, we recommend placing your order at least three (3) weeks in advance for standard items and six to eight (6–8) weeks for custom costumes.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays in the Dominican Republic. Orders placed after 2:00 PM (Dominican Republic time, AST) or during weekends/holidays are processed the next business day.

⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED: Adjust the cutoff time (2:00 PM) based on your actual operation.

3. Shipping Methods and Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.

⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED: Complete with your actual shipping rates. Example structure:

⚠️ Standard Shipping to U.S.: $X.XX USD (7–14 business days)

⚠️ Express Shipping to U.S.: $X.XX USD (3–5 business days)

⚠️ International Shipping: From $X.XX USD (10–25 business days)

⚠️ Free Shipping: On orders of $XXX USD or more (U.S. only)

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been handed off to the shipping carrier, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your package in real time. If you do not receive this email within 5 business days of your purchase, please check your spam folder or contact us.

Please note that tracking information may take 24 to 48 hours to update after the carrier picks up the package.

5. Taxes, Duties, and Customs Charges

The prices displayed on our website do NOT include import taxes, customs duties, VAT, or any other charges that may be imposed by your country's customs authorities. These charges are determined by your country's customs office and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

By placing an international order, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for researching and paying all applicable taxes and duties in your country.

  • We have no control over customs charges and cannot predict their amount.

  • We will not issue refunds for packages refused or abandoned at customs due to the buyer's refusal to pay duties.

  • Delays caused by customs processing are beyond our control.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

6.1 Damaged Package

If your package arrives with visible damage, we ask that you:

  1. Take photographs of the damaged package AND the damaged product before discarding any packaging.

  2. Contact us within seven (7) days of delivery with your order number and photographs.

  3. Our team will evaluate the case and offer you a reshipping or full refund.

6.2 Lost Package

If tracking shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend checking with neighbors, your building's front desk, or your local post office. If after 48 hours you cannot locate it, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

If tracking shows the package is in transit but has exceeded the estimated delivery time, please allow five (5) additional business days before contacting us, as carriers may experience operational delays.

6.3 Incorrect Address

It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for packages shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer. If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to verify the information. The cost of reshipping will be the buyer's responsibility.

7. Modifications and Cancellations

Once an order has been processed and handed off to the shipping carrier, we cannot modify the shipping address or cancel the order. If you need to make changes, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request before the order ships.

Custom costume orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun, in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

This Cookie Policy explains how Danselle (operated by Empresa de Manufactura Tejada Pérez SRL, "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them each time you return to the site.

There are two main types of cookies based on duration:

  • Session cookies: automatically deleted when you close your browser. They are used for essential functions like keeping items in your shopping cart while you browse.

  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them. They are used to remember your preferences and improve your experience on future visits.

And two types based on origin:

  • First-party cookies: set directly by our website.

  • Third-party cookies: set by other services we use on our site, such as Google Analytics, Facebook, or payment processors.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the basic operation of the website. Without them, you would not be able to navigate the site or use fundamental features like the shopping cart or checkout process. They do not require your consent because they are indispensable.

Examples:

  • Shopify (_y, _shopify_y, cart_sig, cart_ts): manage your shopping session, cart, currency preferences, and account authentication.

  • Security and fraud: cookies that help detect suspicious activity and protect transactions.

  • Load balancing: cookies that distribute server traffic to ensure the site functions properly.

2.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited most frequently and whether users encounter errors. This information is used solely to improve how the site works and is collected in an aggregated and anonymous manner.

Examples:

  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, _gid): collects anonymous statistics about how the site is used, including number of visitors, pages viewed, time on site, and traffic sources. Data is processed in aggregate.

  • Shopify Analytics: Shopify's internal tools that help us understand store performance.

2.3 Functionality and Preference Cookies

These cookies allow the website to remember your preferences, such as your language, currency, or location, to offer you a more personalized and comfortable experience.

Examples:

  • Currency and language preference: remember that you prefer to see prices in USD and content in English.

  • Recently viewed items: show you the products you have recently browsed to make your shopping easier.

2.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

These cookies track your browsing activity to show you relevant ads on other platforms and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are set by third parties with our permission.

Examples:

  • Facebook Pixel (_fbp, _fbc): allows Facebook to show relevant ads for our products after you visit our site.

  • Google Ads (IDE, NID): allows Google to show personalized ads based on your visit to our site.

  • Pinterest Tag: if used, allows us to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Pinterest.

3. How to Manage Your Cookies

You have several options for controlling cookies:

3.1 Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Instructions vary by browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

  • Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.

  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.

  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

3.2 Cookie Banner

When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link located in the footer of our website.

3.3 Consequences of Disabling Cookies

  • You may not be able to complete the checkout process.

  • Your language and currency preferences may not be saved.

  • Your browsing experience may not be personalized.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled, as they are necessary for the basic operation of the site.

4. Other Tracking Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies:

  • Tracking pixels (web beacons): small transparent images embedded in emails or web pages that allow us to know if an email was opened or if a page was visited.

  • Local storage: similar to cookies but with greater storage capacity. Used to save preferences and session data.

  • Script tags: small code snippets that allow us to measure site activity and advertising effectiveness.
